With a 30 year family history in Tourism and promoting the growth of our famous wine industry, the collection of amazing chefs complimenting world class menus,and our natural beauty of a very unique global destination creates the perfect showcase for choosing New Zealand and including the Marlborough Region of the South Island.
I owe it to my father who purchased the first Wine Tour Business in Marlborough from David Goulter in the early 1970's under the business name of Highlight Wine Tours.  The first wine was poured by Grove Mill on the side of the road in paper cups and complimentary tasting.  The industry actually started with a local family in the Mussel Farming industry and attracted curiosity to go and see how you farm mussels. MTC was the result moving forward and establishing a wonderful tour agency to promote Marlborough. Little did we know then that 'Sounds Detour' would give us what we have to day to promote to the World and encourage locals of New Zealand to visit.   
Your Local Chauffeur was created by myself as a new entity in 2012 following in my family's footsteps to provide excellence in delivery of our amazing region.
